Group Chief Executive Officer
Peter serves as the Group CEO and is responsible for supporting a timely and effective execution of IPG Howden’s key strategic initiatives.
A Hong Kong native, Peter began his career at Wells Fargo Bank in 1984 before leaving as Vice-President and Branch Manager in 1996. Peter returned to Hong Kong and joined HSBC’s Personal Banking Division to drive the bank’s business development initiatives in Southeast Asia. He was subsequently transferred to Singapore in 1999 to lead the advent of alternative distribution channels for HSBC as Senior Vice-President and Head of Distribution.
From 2005 - 2007, Peter also served simultaneously as Head of Agency Management for HSBC Insurance in Singapore. In total, Peter has over 30 years of experience in the financial/insurance industries in the United States, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Prior to joining IPG Howden, Peter was the CEO of Willis Towers Watson, Global Wealth Solutions in Hong Kong.
Chief Executive Officer – Asia
Benjamin has over 17 years of experience in financial services industry. Prior to joining IPG Howden in January 2014, Benjamin was with Citigroup for 7 years. His last held position was Head of Insurance Broker Business and Chief Executive of Citi Insurance Broker (Hong Kong) Limited. In this position, he was responsible for managing the sales and distribution as well as developing insurance broker referral across Citigroup’s entities.
Benjamin was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of IPG Howden Hong Kong in January 2018 and subsequently as Chief Executive Officer, Asia in June 2022. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.
Chief Executive Officer - EMEA
A wealth management and insurance professional with over 15 years of experience in the High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth life insurance industry, Gaya Vythes joined IPG Howden in 2021 with a focus on expanding the company’s footprint in the Middle-East and Europe.
Prior to joining IPG Howden, she spent the last 12 years with JLT/PCS by Mercer where she expanded the International Team as well as setting up offices in Geneva, Zurich and in Dubai. She was promoted to Deputy Group CEO where she was responsible for covering South East Asia, International, marketing & development as well as training for the Group.
Gaya holds a Bachelor of English (Hons) in Computer Systems and Electronics from Kings College London.
Chief Marketing & Products Officer
Debbie Lau joined IPG Howden as Chief Marketing & Products Officer in 2021 and is responsible for the delivery of frontline support and value-based solutions to our partners and clients.
An accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Debbie brings a wealth of expertise in HNW distribution and multi-channel insurance sales. She has worked with several insurance carriers as well as brokerage and financial planning firms across the United States, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Debbie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration–Finance, from the University of Houston, Texas. She also holds CFP™, Certified Financial Planner and ChFC,Chartered Financial Consultant certifications from the US.
Chief Operations and Risk Officer
Andrew is a wealth management and insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in retail banking, life and general insurance distribution. Prior to joining IPG Howden, he was with HSBC Singapore heading Bancassurance for RBWM and later on as Country Head of Investments and Insurance for Commercial Banking (CMB).
He has vast experience in the distribution of insurance products across all customer segments, including mass market, High-Net-Worth and corporate clients.
In 2018, Andrew joined Howden and facilitated the successful acquisition and merger of IPG. Since then, Andrew has been instrumental in expanding IPG Howden’s distribution across Malaysia, Thailand and Dubai as well as supporting the migration of back office operations from Boston to Singapore.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland and is fully certified by the MAS in the sales and advisory of life and general insurance as well as investment products.
Shirley Low Storchenegger, CFA, FRM

Head of Switzerland, Managing Director
Shirley heads our IPG Switzerland office and business development for the region. Besides being responsible for IPG CH key bank partners, she will also spearhead our efforts in expanding into non-bank channels and new markets. Shirley will report to the CEO of EMEA & Asia directly and work closely with the Singapore and Hong Kong teams to achieve the objectives above.
Shirley joined us from STOXX global index provider where she was responsible for the strategic development of global key account partnerships and the expansion into new markets. Before joining STOXX, she had more than 10 years of private wealth management experience with CS, UBS and asset management at RobecoSAM and Bank Vontobel. As a private banker, she worked with UHNWIs, HWNIs clients and family offices on investments across various assets classes and on wealth planning solutions including trusts, philanthropy and insurance.
Originally from Singapore, Shirley moved to Switzerland 17 years ago. She speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, German and basic French.
Senior Executive Officer & Head of International - Dubai
With over a decade of experience in advising High-Net-Worth and Ultra High-Net-Worth families in succession and wealth transfer planning needs with internationally sourced life insurance solutions, Nehha oversees the International, GCC, NRI and Africa markets out of Dubai.
Prior to joining IPG Howden in April 2016, Nehha was the Head of Middle East & Director of International Team at another international Brokerage where she covered Southeast Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, Middle East and European markets out of Singapore.
Managing Director, Private Wealth, Malaysia
An industry veteran and qualified STEP member, Vincent has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry in helping High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and families achieve their inter-generational wealth transfer and liquidity planning goals.
Vincent was a Senior Financial Planner with Prudential Assurance before setting up his own company to trade life settlements, endowments and hedge funds. Prior to joining IPG Howden, Vincent was with an international brokerage with a focus on affluent clients across Southeast Asia, Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
With his in-depth knowledge of private wealth management and understanding of complex planning issues, Vincent has gained the trust of many clients and developed a stellar reputation in client servicing over the years.
